Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American model, host of a TV show and comedian. Panganiban is often referred to as the "new Queen of Drama" by a variety of media outlets. Panganiban is also regarded as being one of the Philippines the most skilled and diverse actors. Angelica was then able to make it to the finals of the competition performing Symphony in Clean Bandit. The episode that featured the results, she performed "Stronger" along with Kelly Clarkson. The youngest-ever runner-up, Hale finished second in the competition. Angelica Hale became very sick in 2012 when she was barely 4 years of age. Her pneumonia was double caused by an aggressive strep-pneumococcal bacteria infection. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed Angelica Hale on ECMO assistance for lifesaving treatments. She became septic, suffered organ failure including kidneys which did not heal. Peritoneal dialysis, and then hemolysis was her new norm. After an hospitalization of 80 days, Angelica was almost dead after which she began a journey to recovery. Angelica had completed a half-year of dialysis, and one year half year of treatment, was ready to undergo the biggest surgery of all - an organ replacement. The donor kidney would come from only her mother. In September 2013, Angelica and her mom underwent the successful transplantation of their kidney at two remarkable hospitals right across from one another- the University Hospital of Memory and Children's Hospital of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young girl from Atlanta who has always dreamed of becoming an actress and a singer, is still pursuing this dream.
